When You Do Not Want To Part And Have Storage Room
Sometimes there is no need for us to actually get rid of the books that have joined us in a specific part of our life journey; it is just that we are not able to display them in bookcases all around the house. In such cases, it will be a good idea to pack them and exchange them as your preferences change, and you feel the tickle of re-reading them.
Packing books are not difficult tasks, and it certainly does not take a person to be a rocket scientist. However, it does require some skill and a know-how. First you need to place all the books that you are going to be packing according to size just the same as if you are going to be placing them on a bookshelf; once you have done this, it is time for you to start putting them in boxes, start with the biggest books.
Sometimes the biggest books do not leave sufficient space so you can put several big books in one box, fill the voids that are left from the biggest books with the smallest ones. The tighter you get the box, the better the protection for the books will be.
Seal the bottom and the top of the box with packing tape and, if you can, put silicon bags inside so that they will absorb moisture and keep bugs away. Seal the box entirely, cover the middle of the top as well as the borders, this will assist the silicon bag in keeping bugs away and will protect your books.
Once the box has been sealed tie a strong rope around the box this will help you move the box around. Book boxes are unusually heavy, so a strong firm rope tied in around the box will be of assistance.
